Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, once a plugin, theme, or file has been downloaded, it cannot be returned. However, we offer a limited refund policy under specific conditions outlined below.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are evaluated strictly on a case-by-case basis. You are eligible to request a refund only if:

• The product is completely unusable or defective.
• The technical issue cannot be resolved by our support team.
• You submitted a ticket to our support team prior to requesting a refund.
• The refund request is submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued under the following circumstances:

• Change of mind or mistaken purchase.
• Compatibility issues with your web hosting, WordPress setup, or third-party plugins.
• License key or activation warnings (GPL items function without proprietary developer keys).
• Demo import or cloud feature limitations.
• Update delays or product modifications made by original authors.
• Refusal to provide necessary administrative access required for technical troubleshooting.
• Offers, discounts, subscription renewals, or promotional purchases.
• Lack of technical skill required to install or configure WordPress plugins/themes.

3. Membership & Subscription Plans

Membership plans provide instant, unlimited access to our entire library of digital downloads and are therefore non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future automatic billing.

4. GPL & Support Disclaimer

We distribute products under the GNU General Public License (GPL) and are not the original developers. Certain features such as automatic 1-click updates, proprietary cloud imports, or developer server integrations may be limited. Support is provided on request for installation and basic configuration assistance.

5. Payment & Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days back to the original payment method.
• Certain payment gateways (such as cryptocurrencies or manual bank transfers) are non-refundable.
• Refund requests submitted after 7 days from purchase date will automatically be declined.

6. Product Removal

Products may be removed from our platform without prior notice due to author requests or licensing changes. Product removal does not qualify for a refund, but alternative resources may be offered where available.

7. Disputes & Chargebacks

Please contact our support team at contact@gplbyte.net before opening a payment dispute or chargeback. Fraudulent or abusive disputes will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.

8. Additional Terms

• If a refund is issued, you must immediately destroy and cease all use of downloaded products.
• Account cancellation does not qualify for a partial or full refund.
• Additional custom services (SEO, web design, or custom development) are non-refundable.
